Who we are

What we collect

When you request a quote we collect your name, company, email address, phone number, country, the details of the part you describe and the files you upload (drawings, 3D models, photos).

When you apply for a job we collect your name, phone number, the role you are interested in, the experience you describe and, if you attach one, your CV.

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and we do not build profiles of visitors.

Why we use it and on what legal basis

Quote requests: to review your drawing, prepare a price and a lead time and contact you about it. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Job applications: to assess your application and contact you. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time by writing to office@auromet.ro.

We send you an email confirming that we received your request. We do not send newsletters or marketing messages.

How long we keep it

Quote requests and their files are deleted automatically 24 months after we receive them. Job applications and CVs are deleted automatically 6 months after we receive them. If a quote leads to an order, the data needed for the order is kept for as long as accounting and tax law requires.

Encrypted backups are kept for 14 days, so deleted data disappears from backups within 14 days.

Who can see it

Only Auromet staff who handle quotes and recruitment, each with a personal account. Your data is stored on servers operated for us by [HOSTING PROVIDER AND LOCATION], and emails are delivered through our email provider. We do not sell or share your data with anyone else.

How we protect it

Every uploaded file is checked for viruses before it is stored. Files are never sent by email and can only be opened by signed-in staff. The website is served over HTTPS, and backups are encrypted before they leave the server.

Your rights

You can ask us for access to your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to its use, or to receive it in a portable format. Write to office@auromet.ro and we will answer within one month.

You also have the right to complain to the Romanian data protection authority, ANSPDCP (www.dataprotection.ro).
